The Crowne Plaza Hotel Old Town – Alexandria (formerly the Radisson Hotel Old Town) will host the 2008 Charity U.S. Gerard Butler Convention.  If you made your hotel reservation with the Radisson, your reservation was transferred to the Crowne Plaza Hotel Old Town when the hotel changed management.

The Crowne Plaza Old Town Alexandria is located in the heart of Alexandria, convenient to Old Town Alexandria and Washington, DC. The hotel is near the Potomac River and only eight blocks from chic boutiques and award-winning restaurants. Numerous Old Town historic attraction are within walking distance or a short bus ride away including:  Gadsby’s Tavern, the Robert E. Lee boy hood home, and Mount Vernon, George Washington’s Estate.

You will have many transportation options at the Crowne Plaza. The free shuttle service will pick you up at Reagan National Airport or take you to the King Street Historic Shopping District. You may opt instead to take a leisurely cab ride or jump on the award-winning Metro subway system to the Washington DC monuments and museums.

Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Shuttle

The FREE hotel shuttle will pick up guests arriving at Reagan National at quarter past and quarter until the hour (for example 9:15 and 9:45) outside Doors 5 and 9 in the baggage handling area. The hotel shuttle is a white van with the names of both hotels (Crowne Plaza/Holiday Inn) written on it.

As of May 31, 2007, the Crowne Plaza Hotel Old Town is sold out; however, we have obtained the same favorable rates at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites which is located only 3 blocks from the Crowne Plaza. The information for this hotel is as follows:
